Aquafine Colorguard® lamps are at the core of the Aquafine UV system. They are operating reliably in over 100,000 systems, in a range of applications, around the world. The Colorguard system makes it easy for team members responsible for ordering and replacing UV lamps to identify which lamps are needed where. They are verified to ensure efficient operation and reliable performance over the life of the lamp (typically 9000 operating hours).
- Standard Lamp: These lamps have been the mainstay of Aquafine UV systems for decades. Like all Aquafine UV lamps, they undergo a rigorous quality control inspection and testing program. Available in SE and DE.
- High Efficiency (HE) Lamp: A low-pressure, long life, high intensity lamp which greatly increases the capacity and performance of the unit. Available in SE only.
- High Output (HX) Lamp: These lamps feature a higher UV intensity output. They are especially ideal for critical TOC reduction applications. Available in SE only.
- Validated Lamp: As well as Aquafine’s rigorous testing, these lamps also undergo a complete lamp “burn-in” procedure, are individually challenged, traceable and shipped complete with validation documentation. Available in SE and DE.
* Specific UV systems manufactured by Trojan Technologies have been validated through microbial testing. Through this testing, performance data has been generated for UV dose delivery to inactivate Escherichia coli (E. coli), fecal coliform, Poliovirus, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and Adenovirus.
